Delighted to have you join us.

On behalf of Pastor J.D. Farah, we welcome you here to Calvary Connoe.

For those of you joining us online, we welcome you here to Calvary Connoe. For those of you joining

us online, we welcome you as well. And if we have any visitors here, we pray that you are blessed

by the overabundance of love and fellowship that you shall receive here in this Church of God. So welcome.

I do want to remind everyone we just had a prayer meeting last week. Our next one is about a month away, November the 4th, here in the sanctuary at 7 p.m. I want to make sure everyone's aware of that. I pray that you would come out and join us. I know that the prayers were heard, no doubt, because of how we pray. There is a posture of the heart that needs to be there,

and I truly believe that that posture was achieved at our prayer meeting. So once again,

November the 4th, if you're able to come out and pray with us as a church body, please.

We'd be delighted to have you come out and join us. On Sundays, as you're aware, we have

two services. First service

is normally dedicated to the Prophecy Update, second service to the sermon. But today, I

would ask that you would join me in the book of James. Chapter 4, we'll read verses 6 through 10,

and I will also ask all who are able to stand to do so for the reading of the scriptures

this morning, followed by a word of prayer.

Again, we're in the book of James, a well-known section, chapter 4, verses 6 through 10.

The Word of God reads, but He, speaking of God, gives more grace.

Therefore, He says, God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.

Therefore, submit to God, resist the the devil and he will flee from you.
