Hello, friends, it's Asherita, your host of the prayers of breast podcast, and as you could probably tell from the title of today's episode, this isn't your usual prayer episode.

Rather, I'm coming to you with an update here at the end of our summer season.

If you listen to the very first episode titled How Prayers of Rest got started, you know that

I recorded these episodes right at the beginning of quarantine and I queued them up so that

they would be ready to go for you every Monday morning this summer.

But I actually took the summer off of work.

It was a kind of sabbatical, I guess you could say.

And I didn't really know if I would continue recording these podcasts once the summer was over.

But then I started getting messages like this.

Hi, Ashrita.

I just want to thank you for your prayer podcast.

I'm far away from my family and my children.

I'm working in a different country.

It is sometimes very challenging for me to just stay focused on God

and not being influenced and surrounded by

bad news, by social media. And I found that your prayer podcast is so wonderful. I really

entered into God's presence and I just really felt his presence. So I just want to thank you for

doing what you're doing and listening to God and Jesus

to minister to people in the world that need it. My heart is so full to see what God is doing.

And I don't even have the words to tell you what a privilege it is to serve you this way.
