My friends, it has been a while since we've all been together here in the Twilight Zone,

but if you'd allow me to step out of the fiction for a moment,

I'd just like to give a few words of reassurance

that things are gradually getting back to normal here on the Twilight Zone podcast.

Now, it's been a year of great change for me in many different ways,

but one of the main ones is that I moved to a different house

and therefore a new recording space.

And one of my priorities was to get set up so that I could work on the podcast again.

But as I've learned over the years through trial and error, a good sounding

podcast is about more than just plugging a microphone into a computer. You need to get the room

itself sounding right. Now as members of the After Hours Club over on Patreon will know,

the room where I do my recording just hasn't sounded

right on the podcasts that I've put out over there.

Now, for a discussion type podcast, you can kind of get away with that, but for the main

Twilight Zone podcast, especially when we're so close to the end, it has to sound right. I'm just not willing to

settle for second best on that. Now, I won't bore you with the details of what I do to

treat the room, but I think I'm close to being where I need to be to begin producing the podcast

again. So fingers crossed, you won't be waiting

too long for the next episode. But in the meantime, I wanted to draw your attention to a couple

of great things happening in Binghamton in the coming weeks that the Rod Serling Memorial

Foundation are putting together.

On August 30th, this very month, there will be an outdoor showing of three Twilight Zone

...
