The Twilight Zone. Listeners of a certain age may remember passing the time in their youth,

by reading and playing, choose your own adventure books.

The first of those books was released in 1979 and it was called the Cave of Time,

written by Edward Packard, and it begins like this.

You are lost in a strange dimly lit cave. Gradually you can make out two

passageways. One curves downward to the right, the other leads upwards to the left.

It occurs to you that the one leading down may go to the past, and the one leading up may go to the future.

That very question of past or future left or right is at the heart of tonight's twilight zone.

We meet Anne Henderson, an heiress enjoying a peaceful horseback ride around her family's

estate.

When an ominous figure dressed in black appears at the crest of a hill, little does she know,

but Anne will soon face a terrifying

decision. What happens when one single moment sets you down a path with no return? Tonight
