Hello and welcome to Storytime for grownups. I'm Faith Moore, and this is Summer Session.

During season one, we read Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte. From now until September, we'll be

exploring Jane Eyre in once-a-week episodes, which will drop on Mondays, sort of like a college

class, only fun. If this doesn't sound like your thing,

don't worry. Storytime will be back with a new book in September. But for now,

brew a pot of tea, time. Thanks for all your

letters saying that you enjoyed it.

I really love to hear from you. And I always appreciate it when you take the time to let me know

that you enjoyed something. I like that too. And it made me really excited for the fall when we're

going to get back into the story time part of story time for Grownos, which is actually what we're

supposed to be doing here. We are just on break right now. This is summer

session. So welcome. Welcome to summer session. I know that there are some people that are just

finding us for the first time. And the reason I know that is because last week, so last Monday,

we were mentioned, story time for grownups was mentioned in a substack, a wonderful substack called the New Jerusalem.

It is created by Andrew Claven and Spencer Claven, who are my dad and brother.

So perhaps I'm biased, but I think I can objectively say it's a wonderful substack.

And it's talking a lot about the same things that we're talking about here, this idea of the

spirit and the body and how those things need to come together and balance within a Christian

worldview or a Christian perspective. So last week, in one of their letters, the whole substack

is letters back and forth between the two of them, father to son, and in one of the letters,
