summer school when you were a kid yes and unfortunately it wasn't by choice so i went to summer

school a couple times but it was always sort of a like relaxed.

It was never actual school.

It was like, you know, just really laid back interesting topics for like.

It was like camp in school, basically.

Yeah, I had to take math.

Was it, was it relaxed?

Was it, was there like a math?

Well, I mean, was there like a element of like we're in summer school? It's not as intense as it should be.

I mean, I had to pass the math class. So the pressure was on me and it sounds like you had a much different experience. And, you know, I think that the experience you had is the experience that I wish I had and that the experience that we want to give you in our new

series, Deviant Summer School. So what we're doing with Deviant Summer School is we're essentially

bringing in someone to give us the lowdown on how their job works in a very specific way.

Yeah. We're asking questions like, how does it work when you have to do a murder

investigation? What happens when a child goes missing? How do you build a criminal profile? And we're

going to ask all those questions, but we're going to start with sort of the big question. How does

policing work in America? Well, and that's kind of a broad question, but it's a good question.

But it allows us to understand all the specifics that we're eventually going to give

to.
