I noticed this crazy thing, and I don't know if you did too, that there are a lot of serial killers,

like a crazy amount of serial killers, that come from the Pacific Northwest or the Northwest part of the United States.

Ted Bundy, Gary Ridgway, Israel Keys, just to name a few.

Why?

Why is this the case?

Is it totally random or is there something more to it?

Carolyn Frazier has some pretty compelling theories. She's a Pulitzer Prize winner and author of the new book, Murder Land, which explores just this question, why are so many serial killers from the Northwest?

It's also a fascinating meditation on serial killers and how we look at them.
