Today's guest is Debrin, and I found her on social media and a lot of her content just really spoke to me. I love the way she thought. I love the way she talked. Now she has this book called You're Gonna Die Alone and Other Excellent News. There are little tiny bits as I skimmed through the beginnings of this book that really have drawn me in. So many times when we read books, it feels like it's from people who have completed the journey. They figured it out and they've come back to talk to us about it.

But to meet in the mess is sort of where I feel like I've eternally been. And I feel like that's

where I resonate the most. And there are so many different parts of what she speaks, even in

the beginning of the book that really, really

drew me in. This one line I found myself thinking about for an hour after I first read it.

I'm going to read it for you now. If you're anything like me, you might struggle with knowing

exactly what you want to do with your life or exactly how to become who you want to be.

You might find yourself

wrestling with the push and pull of knowing you're a good person, but feeling like you're not.

Maybe there are people in your life who you desperately want to approve of you and who love you

very much, but remind you that there is always something here or there you should change.

If you're anything like me, or maybe that little voice reminding you that you aren't quite

worthy enough of some kind of love or acceptance that has kept you away from saying yes to

And I'm so happy because I've been following you. It's somewhat recent. And I genuinely,

I just like your content. I like the way you think. I like the way you speak. I just shared one of your

things this morning about how you talked about Margo Robbie being the perfect Barbie because she's

always been cast in movies that she is a version of like a males doll. And so for her to be able to come in

and take on the role of Barbie. And I was like, damn, that's like, that's some good thought. I love people who can take something that for a lot of us seems fluffy and light. And you're like, but look deep. I love people like that. I love your content that way. It's funny. It's inspiring. I would love to sort of know how did you get started on sharing that type of content on social media.
