quit ya and beside guys it's July 4th.

You didn't really think we would leave you hanging on Independence Day, right?

So today we have a very special musical treat for you. You'll hear from Zusha, honestly probably like my favorite band

working today. They're a bunch of kick-ass musicians that make music that really call it Hasidic jam but it defies all explanation

and from our friend Omer Netzer an IDF veteran of course, how can it be otherwise, is making country music in Nashville.

But first up, Zusha.

I sat down for a conversation with lead singer Schlamomo Gaysen and guitarist Zakaria Goldschmidt.

The band is named after Zusha Ava Nippoli, probably my favorite,

Chacitic master, and they combine traditional Hasiditic Nignim with jazz, folk, regga, you name it,

to create honestly some of the most stirring, beautiful, moving music out there.

The WEP released in 2014, reach number nine on Billboard's World Albums Chart

while their full-length album Kavanagh reached number two.

They are amazing and once you hear them talk and play music you'll understand why I am so

obsessed with them. Have a listen. The thing that I hate the most about people and podcast interviewing musicians is when people and podcast interviewing musicians ask them dumb questions that they've heard a million times like how did you get started and what is your inspiration I love and respect you guys way too much to put you through this. So ask you a very different set of questions.

What are you very excited about right now? Well I just came out of a bookstore.

I like finding a new source of wisdom to glean from and then every once in a while there's just like this one line that makes it into a song out of every like a hundred books I own was like this one line which just makes it in.

Give me an example. One of our recent songs, Don't Leave Me on My Own. So that song was

inspired by, I ran the book. I think the teaching that I found in it was like a collection section at the end of
