I am one of your hosts Leel Leibowitz and I know we promised we would go on summer break

but listen we're a few days away from the first political party convention,

which means that election season is beginning, which means that we're going to have a bunch

of, well, you know, a lot of divisive partisan talk so today we want to take a break from all of that and focus not on what divides us but on what brings us together and we want to introduce you today to an amazing young writer.

Her name is Maggie Phillips, she's Tablitz religion writer, and not long ago,

she put together an incredible panel for us about, well, Christian allies, people who aren't Jewish, but step up and stand

together with Jews in these difficult times as we're being maligned and attacked

in so many corners of this country.
