Summary

On this episode of Obsessed, Kevin Fallon breaks down the biggest, buzziest moments from the Grammy Awards with producer Rachel—covering everything from Bad Bunny’s powerful speeches and iconic performances to Cher chaos and pop-star discourse worth arguing about. Then, Kevin sits down with Summer House star Carl Radke for a raw, funny, and deeply human conversation about life on reality TV, sobriety, grief, mental health, and what it means to live your hardest moments in front of the cameras. From Bravo fame and shower shots to recovery, vulnerability, and finding purpose through connection, it’s an episode that balances pop culture absurdity with genuine emotional weight—and proves why Summer House (and Carl Radke) hit deeper than anyone expects. Hello, this is Obsessed the podcast, and I'm Kevin Fallon, digging through all the TV shows, movies, and pop culture nonsense to let you know what we think is unmissable.

We have a great guest today. It is Carl Radke, the King of Bravo, or at very least the tallest man on Bravo.

0:24.8

He's on Summer House. He has a new podcast called More Life with Carl Radke. And I have to say,

0:30.5

this is one of the best conversations, maybe the best conversation I've ever had with a reality TV star.

0:36.6

We talk about his drug addiction and

0:39.3

his rock bottom, his sobriety journey and getting through all of that while cameras were

0:44.3

recording it. And because this is obsessed, we talk about butts, of course. Before that, we have

my producer, Rachel Passen, here to talk about the big thing from last weekend, the Grammy Awards. Yes. First of all, thank you for having me here. It's weird to be here versus the air. But, yeah, wanted to kind of get a little temperature check with you about the Grammys. I didn't get to watch it. Oh, no. No, I know. This is the first year I haven't watched it in, like, a really long time. Well, I watched it, and I have to say I am a newly anointed bad bunny super fan. Really? Okay, so I've only seen, like, little clips from online, which is why I was like, ah, what a Grammys to miss? Like, that really sucks. But apparently I have Paramount Plus, but not Paramount Plus premium.

1:29.6

So I know. I didn't do it, though.

1:34.2

But so I saw all the little clips, though, of like Bad Bunny and his amazing speech.

1:35.3

What was your take on that?

1:37.0

I mean, I was really moved.

1:45.6

I think that sometimes there can be sort of like this eye role about, you know, artists and celebrities being political in their speeches. but I don't think there's ever been a more perfect moment for someone like Bad Bunny, who is from Puerto Rico

1:50.3

and Hispanic artists, to speak openly about how the atrocities that are happening right now with

1:56.0

ICE, to use his speech as a platform to address that and to call for action.

2:02.2

And he did it with such grace, with such honesty, and it was very clearly personal to him.

2:08.5

And he is on the cusp of just like this massive celebrity moment because he's obviously doing the Super Bowl next weekend.

2:15.9

So we're going to see more of him.

2:16.8

So for him to use this as a chance to talk about that, I was just really inspired by it and moved by it. And I'm really appreciating for doing that. Yeah, totally. I mean, just from the little clips that I've seen, he was so eloquent. And English isn't even his, like like first language, you know? He was so passionate

2:35.0

with the message that he wanted to get across. And I think that's such a beautiful thing.

2:39.0

I thought so many people showed the hell out. Like Billy Eilish also had to say about it.

2:44.3

They had to bleep her out because of what she was saying. Was it really? Oh my God.
