I am talking to an absolute S&L legend, Kevin Neillan.

You may know Kevin as the anchor of weekend update from the early 90s.

That was when I was growing up.

But he has been around for such a long time and is so funny.

He also has a great new stand-up special called Loose in the Crotch that we're going to talk about as well.

But first, I'm joined by our producer,

Rachel Passer. Hey, Rachel, how's it going? Hey, how's it going? I thought that we could start this episode by talking about Saturday Night Live, which is an obsession of mine for sure. And it is

very unmissable this weekend because it is the 1,000th episode of SNL. I don't know if you realize that.

I do realize that, but just because, you know, that's in our calendar.

Yeah. This is a moment to talk about SNL. I think we talked a lot about SNL when it was

the 50th anniversary, not too long ago. And this is another big milestone for the show.

And this weekend, the host of the show is going to be Alexander Scarsguard with musical guest

Cardi B. I feel like they're a good combo. What do you think, Rachel? I think so too. Cardi B is my girl.

I love her. She continues to be hilarious, but also a great performer musically. So I'm

actually so curious what she's going to perform. I don't think I've ever seen a live performance of her,

so I'm excited. Yeah. And I feel like she's the kind of musical guest who's going to get involved

in sketches as well. Oh, totally. Yeah. That'll be good. But yeah, it's just insane that this show has been

around for so long. You know, I think we all know that it's been around for 50 years, which

sounds like a lot, but then 1,000 episodes. Like, I don't, has any other show ever done 1,000
