Let's turn over to Mark Chapter 4. And I'm going to use this as a starting place,

but I'm going to be sharing a lot of different things during this week.

But I just want to impress on you how important getting the Word of God established in your heart is.

And this is really simple.

I would imagine that the vast majority of people here today say,

oh, I believe that the Bible

is true and it's important. But the truth is most people are not fully established. The word of

God isn't final authority in their life. And this is at the root of all of our problems.

You know, I've been witnessing to this guy at our feed store in Floreson out here.

And anyway, the guy was a sniper in Vietnam, and he killed so many people.

He just said, God could never forgive me.

And he was going to seminary before he got drafted and sent to Vietnam.

And so he's known about the Lord, but after the things

that he did, he just said, God had never had any time for him. And so I've told him a number of times,

I said, hey, God's not through with you. I said, you have a wrong impression about God. And so anyway,

this last week he came up to me and he saw a deal on the Shrout of Turin

and he's been watching it on the History Channel for three weeks and he told me this coming

Sunday, which was last Sunday, he says they're going to have a documentary and they're doing a DNA

testing on the blood on the shroud of Turin and they're comparing it and they're,
