Hello, everybody. Welcome back to all read what she's reading. I'm Reggie. I'm Michaela and I'm Kennedy. And it's summertime. So we are going to dive into the books that we are recommending for you for the summer,

0:22.0

whether it's for a summer vacation, just sitting out by the pool at a picnic.

0:27.3

I don't know.

0:27.8

All the summer vibes.

0:29.5

I feel like there's some books that you just are like, I cannot read this in the summer,

0:33.1

but there's books that you definitely need to read in the summer, you know?

0:36.1

Let me ask you guys this question.

0:38.1

What do you guys think is the most elite month for reading? July. Oh, wait, cannot even wait,

0:45.4

not month. Sorry, not month. Season. I meant to say season. Yeah. For me, it's probably winter,

0:50.6

just because, like, I'm stuck inside a lot and I'm not doing as many things. I feel like summer feels

0:56.4

busy. Like I feel like I haven't read very much this summer so far because I'm just like family event and

1:03.1

barbecue this. Like it's just club. Another club. Yeah. Seriously. I don't always say winter. But then I feel like there's so many releases that get released, like end of spring, early summer. I don't know. I would say mine is probably summer just because I feel like I'm in a good headspace in the summer.

1:24.5

Ooh, that's a good point. Like spring and summer, I feel like I'm just like ready to read for some reason. That makes sense, yeah. I don't know. But I also agree when you're stuck inside. Mm-hmm. Like, there's nothing else to do. I mean, there's a lot of things to do, like be on your phone, but I'd rather read. I feel like I have the most time to read in the winter, but I'm going to take out, like, my job out of the equation, because summer is the worst time for my job. I'm going to say summer's the best time. One, because it's warm outside. It's easy just to, like, lay outside and read a book. And also, think about it. You have so much more light to read. So if you're reading a physical whole book, it's a lot easier. Yeah. You know, you don't have to use a light or whatever. So I'm going to say, if I'm going to get really specific, I'm going to say late summer, early fall. Oh, okay. Sorry, I just, I just threw that on them, but I figured that was a good little, no, no, interesting question. Yeah. So, good way to kick it off.

2:17.8

Kick it off.

2:18.9

Who wants to kick it off? Me. Because I'm scared when you guys are going to steal this book. So I want to go first. Oh, okay. All right. Okay. My first recommendation, I'm going to be surprised if you listening haven't read it at this point. I'm going to say every summer after and won golden summer by Carly Fortune.

2:34.2

Oh, yes.

2:35.3

Okay.

2:35.9

Was it on both of your guys' list?

2:37.3

Well, yeah, because the TV show comes

2:38.7

out like so soon, precisely. So if you haven't read those yet, read every summer after as soon as

2:45.5

possible because the TV show on Prime, right? It's Prime? Yes. I think so, yeah. Comes out. I think it comes out in June.

2:53.6

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Very soon. Did you guys watch the trailer? No. Yes. I'm a little nervous for it. It's going to be cheesy.
