Summary

Mississippi summer baseball teams are competing on a regular basis now. We need baseball in our lives and man, do I miss Omaha.


Today's top ten is a throwback to midsouth wrestling.

Welcome to the Bone Yard with Steve Robertson. As always, I am your good friend and host Steve Robertson here on the magnificent Monday edition of the yard. A little bit later than I planned, but it's been one of those days working through the edit process. That's the thing about writing a book that I don't think a lot of people understand.

Is you write it and then you submit it and then it goes through a round of

editors and then you get it back and it's all marked up just like your junior English

composition teacher would do to your rough draft and then there's some things

some nuance or some things that have to be changed,

or sometimes you will say things one way, and it's got to be rephrased a little bit

because you used a repetitive phrase, a couple paragraphs later in your manuscript.

And so there's a lot that goes into that.

So I was up to about two in the morning working on 10 football chapters.

There are 21 chapters in this book, 10 of them football, six of them baseball, three of them

basketball, and two of them student stories. I think you'll find those of great interest.
