A little bit overcast out here in Star Vegas.

Not too bad a day.

For a summer day, not so bad.

But be that as it may,

got the dog days of summer coming up in more ways than one.

Hope you guys are able to cool the house

and get some relief every now and again when you can.

A little football news today

as three Mississippi State Bulldogs named all SEC by Athlons,

you remember a time when that was kind of the beginning of college football season, right?

When the athlons and the street and Smiths and all that stuff began to kind of show up on the newsstands,

that's when you know college football was getting close.

It's a little different day and time.

But that being said, Colin Hill, according to Athlon Sports, the first team all SEC

running back, as well he should be, Errol Thompson, a third team linebacker, and Nathan

Pickering, sophomore Nathan Pickering, defensive tackle, comes in as a fourth team selection. I remind you that anybody can make a list, but I think if you had to kind of put a list of Mississippi State's impact players, those three guys certainly should be on it. K.J. Costello, it's one of those things, I guess they decided, you know what, he didn't play in this league, so we're not going to rank him.

K.J. Costello is going to put up some huge numbers in this offense.

My hope is these types of snubs only motivate him to be even better.

Father's Day is coming up, as you guys are well aware.
