While summer is on the way and like we talked about in last episode, we want to take you

through just a bit of a brainstorm session between Jacques and I, really for both of our

gardens on what we want to do and then how we're actually going to do it.

So let's just take a look, for example, at my garden right now, Jacques.

We know that one of our beds has leaks and onions in it that are just about ready to fully

pull.

I would say the onions need a little bit more time, but what we would normally do is we

would pull them and then it would maybe reset the bed, re-amend, put some mulch on and

then it might sit honestly for over a week while we figured out what to do or needed to

start seeds or whatever the case may be.

So now knowing that, let's say in about 10 days, we'll clear that bed out, what do we

want to put in there?

I'm thinking peppers.

That makes a lot of sense because we only have one pepper bed here that becomes at the

moment, I think.

So we definitely could use some more peppers.

So keeping that in mind, if we're going to be harvesting this out in a week, we're going

to want to start pulling together our pepper seedlings, seeing what works, what doesn't

And if we don't have it, we're just going to have to supplement by buying in some transplants.
