Best gift I've ever received has to be a bike when I was younger, a pedal bike.

It was a sort of slick little road bike and I remember it was all like,

it was so, it was all wrapped up, but it was so obvious what it was obviously because nothing

shaped like a bike and I had a little ribbon on it and I was so gas.

For that was a life changer and I'm still sort of big on cycling around my area now,

so for that one change me a little.

Hello there and thank you for joining me. This is Outta Lunch where I chat to

brilliant people over a few courses of the finest food.

My lunch guest today is usually described as the lead singer

of one of the biggest bands of the eighties, one that's still placed today and still draws huge

audiences and all of that's absolutely true. But for me, well he's something else.

He's the lead singer of a band I had loved for over 40 years.

Their first album was the first album I was ever given as a kid and I played it until the grooves

were worn smooth. So I am absolutely thrilled to be having lunch with him.
