self-understanding. On today's show, what's the main topic? Well, we're going to talk about suffering,

and I want to talk about the nuance of suffering because just a few things came up this morning.

One of them was the New York Marathon was this weekend.

Oh, okay.

And so there was a lot of pictures of people who ran it.

A lot of pictures of people suffering.

Well, and that's what I want to talk about is the nuance.

Like this isn't like any kind of like marathons are suffering because I know a lot of people

who love marathons and it gives them so much sense of purpose, goal setting, obviously overall

body health. So it's not like marathons as the problem. But that's kind of what brought it into my

mind. But when we really do with me saying that, that marathons are, there's nothing inherently

bad about them. When you look beneath it of why people do them, there is an

interesting element of suffering to it. You actually did, not in New York, but you did one in

Ireland, and I would say you suffered a bit. I did one in Dublin. I don't know if that was good.
