I sit there. There's some lovely stories around today about how Britain has moved ahead even of some parts of Scandinavia when it comes to being socially liberal.

And another story about how same-sex parents are at least as good, if not better, on average,

than heterosexual couples raising children together.

And it just occurred to me as it sometimes does.
