to expire.

And the United Nations are neighbouring South Sudan along with other African nations are

working hard to extend it.

South Sudan says its leading efforts to persuade the two generals in charge of Sudan's army

and the rival paramilitary rapid support forces to agree to another three day ceasefire,

inviting them for face-to-face discussions in the South Sudanese capital, Juba.

Sudan's army has said it's willing to extend the truth but so far there's been no response

from the RSF.
