Now we move to Sudan, the Nile River Valley.

This is from the Washington Post.

The paramilitary rapid support forces is committing genocide in Sudan.

The U.S. State Department said in these last hours,

and the U.S. Treasury Department sanctioned its chief Mohammed Hamdan de Gallo,

universally known as humidity.

The RSF goes to quote,

An Allied militias have systematically murdered men and boys,

even infants, on an ethnic basis and deliberately targeted women and girls from certain ethnic groups

for rape and other forms of brutal sexual violence, according to Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.

These same militias have targeted fleeing civilians,

murdering innocent people, escaping conflict, and prevented remaining civilians from accessing

life-saving supplies. I'll stop there, Gregory, because genocide is a charge by the State

Department. However, this underlines the fact, as you've been explicating for more

than a year, that the Nile River Valley is not merely in turmoil, is unstable. Egypt blames

Ethiopia for its lack of water resources, which really is a consequence of an overpopulation

and poor planning. Egypt has used Sudan and its

army in order to foment disorder in Ethiopia, doing very well there. Ethiopia has been in a civil war.

This statement by the State Department appears that we recognize things have run out of control.
