Now let's go ahead and get into succession planting.

So what is the definition of it first? Well, it refers to several

planting methods that increase crop availability during a growing season by

making efficient use of space and timing. I know that is a mouthful and the basic logic here is that it is a

more efficient way to grow. Time, space, time and space are your resources when it comes to gardening.

You can only grow in as much spaces you have and you can only get as much out of your

garden as there is time to get that produce out, right?

So there are four different types of succession planning that you can do.

You can do two or more crops in succession. So after one crop is harvested another is planted in the same space and

You'll play with the length of the growing season the climate and the type of crop so for for example, a cool season spring crop

would be followed up by a heat-loving summer crop.
