Like it or not, you are judged every day by how you look, dress and carry yourself.

Everyone who wants to crush it in life needs to put personal feelings aside and understand the relationship between our personal, physical appearance, and how it directly impacts success.

The way we look plays a significant role in our confidence, self esteem and self image, which influences the way we present ourselves to the outside world. It’s also the way we speak to the world about where our priorities lay without uttering a single word.

Here’s the truth, we all make judgments about each other based on our personal appearance, so it is important to think about what kind of image we want to project to the world.

Looking the part of success and maintaining a clean, healthy, neat appearance is one of the first steps towards feeling, and becoming successful. It’s also a very easy thing to do that produces an immediate impact!

0:42.4	A couple weeks ago, I was in my office getting some work done and someone just walked

0:51.7	No knock, no nothing, like no like text, hey, I'm going to be over
0:56.2	your office. So someone just barged into my office and I look up and it is a young man, probably
1:03.2	in his early 20s and, you know, had kind of a disheveled appearance about him. And basically,
1:10.7	you know, I look at him and I said, hey, you know, can I help you?
1:13.7	And he told me that he was there for an interview.
1:17.6	And I just kind of glanced at the kid again.
1:22.5	I kind of look at him up and down.
1:23.9	And, you know, I thought for sure that there had to be some kind of mistake
1:28.9	because surely my team would have not overlooked one of the most critical components of our
1:37.5	interview process, which would be, A, to look at the individual social media and then also do a phone interview, okay?
1:46.8	Because if they were to do a phone interview, they would have assessed rather quickly that this person was not a good cultural fit for our company.
1:58.0	So I want to tell you guys why, all right. When he walked in, I had a hard time
2:03.3	understanding him. Okay. And it wasn't because he was foreign. It wasn't because he had an accent.
