| 0:26.3 | school as a janitor and it all looked good. He was in, They liked him. And he just said very openly, I just want you to know that I can't read all right. I work really hard, but I can't read all right. And the school, based on that information, didn't hire him. |

| 1:06.9 | $30,000 right that means so much more in this day and age. |
| 1:14.2 | And his friend helped him because he couldn't even go to the bank and deposit his money, |
| 1:18.3 | so his friend filled out the forms and helped him deposit it, |
| 1:20.7 | so he had this saving accrued of $30,000 in the 1950s. Anyway one day he went to |
| 1:28.4 | withdraw some money and he said to the bank teller look I can I can't read all right, but this is me. |
| 1:33.3 | Can I withdraw this amount of money? |
| 1:35.6 | And she said, wow, you've saved $30,000 and you can't read all right. |
| 1:41.4 | Where would you be if you could read and write? Where would you be if you could read and write? And he said, well, I guess I'd be the janitor at the school? Why do I love this story so much? |
