Summary

Today on "The Call Room: Road To Seattle" is JoJo Jourdon!

On February 3rd, he won the 2024 New Balance Grand Prix in a time of 3:59.87. JoJo became the first Utah high school runner to break the four-minute mile barrier.

He's racing one of his first competitive miles back since February this week.

JoJo was the 2023 Men's NXN Champion and won in stunning fashion. He came out of the mud on top, and that was just the start. He's also run 1:55.55 in the 800m and 8:40 in the 2-Mile. Lastly, he won the 2023 Utah 5A XC State Champ,2023 & recently won a pair of State-Titles at his 2024 Utah Track State Championships.

JoJo is committed to run for Wake Forest this upcoming Fall where he'll join a Rockey Hansen who also broke four minutes in the mile as a high schooler last year.

In today's conversation, we recap his historic state meet, his decision to go all-in on the Brooks PR Meet, his experience from the 2023 edition, his recent training, and much more!

You can catch JoJo Jourdon go for first on June 12 in the Mile at the 2024 Brooks PR Meet in Seattle, Washington.
