Howdy, Pastor Mark Driscoll here with our study of Ecclesiasties.

We're in part two on meaningless life where the world's wisest fool tells it like it is.

Today we're in Ecclesiasties chapter 1 verses 12 through 18 and we're looking at

Solomon's experiment in stuffinging the PETA of Life.

Let's start with a story.

Seems like a good place to start.

When I was a kid, went to public school remember recess we played a lot of kickball a lot of soccer I don't know what you did I remember there was a little season there where the craze became juggling.

For a while with my kids, it was Kandama's

and other things.

Well, when I was a kid, I remember there was this one kid

in our elementary school.

We were pretty young, and he somehow taught himself how to juggle.

And he got pretty good at it, to where he could juggle all kinds of stuff and he could keep it up in the air for quite a bit of time and he would practice practice diligently each recess and after a while

Kids started to stand around watching him that seemed to be interesting enough to garner a crowd.
