0:18.1	Been talking about the tribulation, been looking at Revelation, particularly Revelation
0:23.7	chapter 6 and 7.
0:26.8	And it is kind of appropriate that we're talking about God warning or sending a warning
0:32.3	to his people.
0:34.7	The Lord is gracious.
0:36.3	And if you'll notice in the Old Testament, when the people get out of God's will,
0:42.2	God always sends a prophet or more than one prophet. In many cases, he would send a major prophet
0:48.8	and some minor prophets to bring a warning either to the king or to the religious authorities of the day
0:55.8	to say if you do not shape up God's judgment's going to fall and usually the prophets
1:02.7	ended up being killed sadly and I say usually I think in every case except the case of
1:09.6	Elijah who was taken to heaven in a fiery chariot,
1:12.9	and that was a good thing for him.
1:15.1	If he'd stayed on this earth, he probably would have had a terrible end.
1:19.2	But the point is, God sends warnings time and time again.
1:25.8	He is sending warnings today, but not in the Old Testament way.
1:30.8	His word, the New Testament, is a prophecy.
1:34.8	It is like the books, the 27 books of the New Testament, are like a prophet speaking to us.
1:41.3	We don't need a physical prophet.
