Well, thank you so much. Good morning, Church.

Morning brothers and sisters. It is exciting to be here at the Rocky Mountain International

Prophecy Conference. You know, it only takes one person from another country to call it

international, right? How it works? No, it's very exciting and I'm excited to be with you

here today. You know, a couple things just by way of introduction. Gary mentioned my book, the Christian zombie killer's handbook. And I wrote this book a few years ago. I spent many, many years in student ministry. And one of the things I discovered was in student ministry, if you're not communicating to students, they're not listening. If you don't keep their attention, not just through entertainment, but through giving them deep biblical truth. And so I was talking to a young man one day, and he was telling me how he was

struggling to be the man of God he wanted to be for his girlfriend. And I just looked at him and I just

said, buddy, here's your problem. You got a zombie inside you. And the Bible calls it the sin nature.

And it wants to destroy you and consume you and take you down and keep you from running with God. And I said, you need to learn what that zombie is, how it works, and more importantly, how you can overcome it and have a consistent win in your relationship with Jesus Christ. So immediately while I'm talking to him, I'm having this idea in the back of the mind, wow, it was a great book idea, you know? And all of a sudden, you know, I was like calling my agent going, hey, I've got another book idea. Stay with me on this one, right? And anyway, the Christian Zombekiller's Handbook is half a fiction novel. And every other chapter is a deep theological study about the sin nature, what the Bible says about it, what it says about sin, sanctification.

We get deep in a Roman 6 and 7 and 8 and Galatians 2. I take you all over the scripture about

this sin nature thing and understanding the wicked heart that we have as humans and what God has

done to help us overcome it. And so I've done now zombie killer weekends for over a hundred different

churches in their student ministries. And kids are just getting saved out of their minds. And they're

learning how to overcome sin and temptation. So in the world that your children and your grandchildren live

in, we need to be able to learn how to recognize sin and overcome it. And most of our sin comes from

right here anyway. So that's what the zombie killer's handbook is all about now you may

recognize a little bit in my voice a little bit of a southern draw i want you to know i i've lost a lot

of my southern draw i'm from little rock arkansas but originally i'm from south car Carolina, which is about as southern as you can

possibly get, right? And I come from a long line of men. My dad grew up in a family of nine boys and

one girl. Bless her heart. That's a southern phrase meaning glad I'm not you. Okay? And then my dad had three boys. My oldest

brother had three boys. I prayed for three boys and got three boys. And then my oldest son,

my brother's oldest son had two boys. And then my oldest son a year ago had his first child and guess what it was.
