trials here we go Shannon Gardner who is accused in a case very similar to the Dan Markel Charlie Adelson and Donna Adelson

all things Adelson case is due back in court this morning at 9 a.m. and yours truly actually completely had this

off his calendar but that's why I have Tim and Space Coast here to remind me.

And the pool camera here is supposed to be First Coast News out of Jacksonville.

And I already see true lifestyles who's been following this case for us.

By the way, today and True Lifestyles reminded me of this is the two-year anniversary of this horrific murder.

So Tim Janssen particularly poignant two years to the day, Valentine's Day, which was two days ago, was their last

holiday together.

Kind of a sad date here and ironic that the defendant will be in court for this, isn't it?

Yeah, it's horrible.

It's horrible for the family.

And justice, you know, usually takes a long time in murder cases.

It can take years.

Now during the COVID it really set back trials, serious cases,

probably two years, big murder cases, courtrooms were closed, inability to take depositions,

experts, people to travel. It really was, and I don't think a lot of people

realize the shutdowns really affected the judicial process and the legal court system a lot or really did and it backlogged a lot of the trials so that when they did open up they had to get the trials that were backlogged.

So I don't think the system is actually caught up yet.

Maybe another year or two.
