I think my deepest need is words of affirmation,

that when the world may criticize me for what I do, for what I say,

my woman always has my back.

And words of affirmation is not always you're doing good. Words of affirmation may be, say, well, babe, you did good, but you could do a little better over here. Yeah. I haven't had that in a relationship. I haven't had it from any other women outside of my arms. And it's like, I want to come home and know that as long as my wife, as long as my woman,

it's like, babe, you got this.

Or babe, we could do better over here.

Or babe, hey, you did this.

I would feel like Superman.

My name is Deborah Felata and I'm a licensed professional counselor, national speaker, and author.
