Good morning everyone and welcome back to another mornings with the masters.

We're devoted ourselves to the Lord daily with you.

We are picking up with day four of our devotion to the Bible title

when your way isn't working.

And as always, I'm gonna do the scripture

that I'm also gonna pick with the devo.

The scripture is John chapter 15 verse one.

And it says this,

I am the true vine and my father is the gardener. The devotional is titled

Wait and See. And it says this. There were a number of cinematic classics to come out of

the 80s that you might remember.

There was the Goonies, the Princess Bride, and the Never Ending Story.

There's one more that I'm thinking of.

It's the Karate Kid.

And there's a scene in the movie where Mr.

Miyagi is teaching Daniel about trimming a bonzai tree.

It's a scene that almost actually got cut, pun intended.

He's explaining to Daniel that when someone is pruning a bonzai tree, they have a picture in their head of what it will eventually look like.

Cutting the tree doesn't actually hurt the value of the tree. You think it might if it's cutting it back, but actually in the hands of the right

gardener, a bonsai tree can be incredibly valuable. It's because it's considered a work of art.
