reason why there's so much positive energy around this team right now. And it's got me very optimistic for the future of the Lakers. I'm going to get into that. Now, yes, they are 0 and 2 in preseason, but I feel really good about the Lakers right now.

If you're really good about what we've seen so far and where this is all heading.

Now, last game against the Phoenix Suns, I was actually talking to some colleagues

about this and said, you know, I was really disappointed. The Lakers lost that game against the Phoenix

Suns, not so much because I care about the wins and losses in a preseason game. Because I don't

really, like you don't want to go 0 and 6 in preseason. Like that's not a good sign, right? If that's what you wind up doing, go 0 and 6 in preseason, that's not good. But in general, does a preseason game matter all that much in terms of the final score? No. And in fact, I would recommend if you're looking at that game against Phoenix to really look at it as two games. You had the first game where the starters played. That was the first half. You had the second game where the starters didn't really play.

That was the second half. The second game was lost. The first game was one.

Probably look at it that way. That's the best way to approach it. But I knew that the negativity

would come out with people who just saw the final score. You see the final score and you go up, see, there it is. Confirmation, the Lakers suck. They're terrible. This offseason was terrible. Everything is bad. The sky is falling. All of that. That's what we were going to be dealing with just because the final score. And if anything, I came away from that son's game excited about the team, positive about

the outlook and I think really thrilled about what we've been seeing going on on the floor.

But here's what's got me particularly excited. And it's one thing. It's JJ Reddick. It's
