Summary

Motherhood is hard sometimes, but hard does not equal bad. We are all striving to be the best Mama to our children, but the journey in learning how to be a biblical mother is not always clear, especially in a world that devalues the duties the role brings and indulges the fleshly desires we must turn away from. Join Angie (Mother to nine) and Abbie (Mother to ten) as they discuss a couple of the most challenging aspects of motherhood that they have experienced. A little hint, they talk about some riveting topics such as “Self-Care vs Soul-Care”, How to Find a Titus 2 Mentor and their experiences, as well as the “Gentleness Challenge” Abbie talks about in her book, “M is for Mama.” In case you are wondering, we talk in-depth about the difference between the “Gentle Parenting” movement of today and what God’s Word calls us to as Biblical Women to be gentle mothers because they are NOT the same thing.

Welcome to Crages Parenting Podcast, a weekly show to quit parents with biblical truth on raising

0:04.9

confident Christian kids in an uncertain world. Hi, I'm Angie from Crages Mom.

0:09.8

And I'm Isaac from Resolute Man. We've been married for 21 years and have seen the fruit from

0:14.7

raising our eight kids biblically based on the raw truth found in the Bible. We can no longer let

0:20.3

the culture win the hearts of children. Too many children from Christian families are walking

0:24.4

away from their faith by age 18 and it doesn't have to be this way. It shouldn't be this way. Join

0:30.1

us as we start an important conversation about effective parenting. Hey everybody thanks for

0:37.6

joining us for the Crages Parenting Podcast. I am very excited to have another guest with us on

0:44.6

today's podcast. We have Abby here with us from Emma's Mama and we will get into that in just a

0:51.3

second. But before we do, I just wanted to say thank you all for just supporting the Crages Parenting

0:58.1

Movement and the one million legacies vision that Isaac and I have to try to encourage and equip

1:06.4

parents to raise confident Christian kids for an uncertain world. This is something that we have

1:12.1

been passionate about and working towards and we couldn't do it without you guys. And so I just

1:16.0

wanted to say thank you for the support and remind you as well that one of the things that is really

1:22.0

encouraging to both of us is when you leave comments on the iTunes Podcast Review section. We are

1:27.5

getting close to 2000 comments and reviews which is super exciting. We're also very close to 2

1:32.4

million downloads which is another huge milestone for us that we're very excited about. And we

1:37.4

couldn't do that without the personal recommendations, the shares, the reviews, all the things. And so

1:43.6

I just want to say thank you for those of you who have partnered with us. We are doing this with

1:48.8

you guys. It's an encouragement to have other people who are courageously stepping out to raise

1:53.6

their kids unapologetically for Jesus. And so we're excited to have you here with us today.

2:00.6

And I am very excited for you guys to meet. Hopefully this is someone new to you. This is Abby.
