| 0:00.0 | Welcome to today's encouragement from Our Daily Bread. I'm Amy Boucher Pie, and I called our reading |
| 0:12.5 | strengthened through trials. The memories flooded back when I rustled through some envelopes and |
| 0:19.6 | glimpsed a sticker that said, |
| 0:21.5 | I've had an eye test. In my mind, I saw my four-year-old son proudly wearing the sticker after |
| 0:27.9 | enduring stinging eye drops. Because of weak eye muscles, he had to wear a patch for hours each |

| 1:51.3 | Today's Our Daily Bread devotional scripture reading is from Romans chapter 5, verses 1 through 5. |
| 1:59.0 | Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus |
| 2:04.9 | Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. |
| 2:12.1 | And we boast in the hope of the glory of God, not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, |
