I am thrilled to be invited back this weekend. Really glad to be with you guys.

And I want to give you a... So here's the quick update. Shondell and I are usually at the 4 o'clock

service at Lake Forest, although

we love all the campuses at Saddleback.

By the way, I don't know if you guys knew, no, we have a new name for one of our campuses this

weekend.

I want to applaud them all together.

Saddleback Rancho Capistrano is now Saddleback San Juan Capistrano, so let's applaud them in with their new name. Love all of our campuses.

And so we come 4 o'clock, still involved in ministry, teaching our new pastors, and being involved

with teaching drive-time devotions. We get to do it all as volunteers now like you guys get to do.

Chandell is involved in so much ministry with so many different people. And we have 10 grandkids,

so that keeps us sort of busy too. Glad to be here this weekend talking about this series of the

fact that you and I can be a light in this world. Last week we started talking about the truth

that Jesus said, I am the light of

the world, but he also looked at us and he said, you are the light of the world. He wants to shine his

light through us. And I got to tell you, there is no better time than Christmas to think about

the light of the world coming through Jesus. Last week, Pastor Andy had

us look at John chapter 1, which talks about Jesus coming into the world and the fact that he

came to bring light to the darkness. I want to show you a verse from the Old Testament that says

the exact same thing. This is a prophecy of Jesus coming that was written by Isaiah 700 years

before Jesus comes into the picture.
