Fasting mode on. Now some of you have seen probably me posting about

Fast Forward. Fast Forward is a book that I wrote. It's a devotional, 21 day devotional prayer and

fasting devotional. It also comes in electronic, physical book, audio book, but that's not what

this video or this challenge is about, about you getting the book, because the book will be

available or is available for a free to be downloaded on the website. It's really putting the

message of fasting into practice. Now, fasting,

we're going to look at right now what is fasting? We're going to look at when are we doing

the fasting challenge, why are we doing it, and how are we going to do it? So I'm going to

answer some of the questions that you probably have on what, when, why, and how.

So most of you already know what fasting is. It's really going without food. Now, it's not a

commandment in the Bible. We're not required to fast. It's a something that we do willingly,

is something we do voluntarily. And so the Bible does teach us when we fast, not if we fast, meaning Jesus expected believers to fast.

Jesus fasted great men and of God and women of God in the Bible. Not all of them are recorded

they fasted, but we see quite few of them fasted.
