In this video, I want to talk about radical sacrifice.

What does it mean, theologically, biblically,

and as well as practically?

If we look in the past, in the Old Testament, we see that sacrifices were offered in the Bible. Abel offered a sacrifice from the first of his flocks in Genesis 4, verse 4. We see that Noah offered a burnt sacrifice. We see that Abraham also offered his son as a sacrifice, but eventually he didn't go through it because God stopped him.

And Job offered sacrifices to God.

During the time of Moses, we know that Moses pretty much instituted by God's commandment to offer five types of sacrifices.

Two of them, or those sacrifices could be broken into two types of sacrifices.

The thank you sacrifices and as well as I'm sorry sacrifices.

Thank you sacrifices were grain and fellowship offering, and then I'm sorry offerings were pretty much the burned offering, the sin offering, and the guilt offering.

Now for us as Christians, we don't have to

offer those sacrifices today because Jesus became the sacrifice. As Christians, we don't focus on

a sacrifice we make, we focus on a sacrifice we trust, and that sacrifice is Jesus Christ. But still,

in the New Testament, we see that three types of sacrifices

still remain. We are encouraged to offer that sacrifice of praise according to Hebrews chapter 13,

verse 15. We are encouraged to offer the sacrifice, living sacrifice over our bodies. Romans

12 verse 1 and we are encouraged to offer the sacrifice of our finances,

and that is in Hebrews chapter 13, verse 16, what it says, but do not forget to do good and to share,
