Varla, what is a Banshee?

A Banshee, quite literally translated, banshee means of the fairy mound.

And the original definition of a banshee is a sort of a fairy woman or a female spirit that was believed to be of the fairy realm. And the role of the

Banshee is to warn and predict death. The Banshee's signature move is this very mournful whale, not unlike whaling that you might hear at a funeral.

According to William Butler Yates, the original Irish families, the original clans were the ones that

had the banshees attached to them. And essentially,

you would have somebody that was, was ill or perhaps, you know, going to battle or something like

that. And you would hear the banshees whale or the banshe's song, usually a day or two before the person would pass away.

The Banshee is heard more often than seen, but she does take a few different forms.

Frequently, she is a rather attractive sort of pale ghostly maiden sometimes in a white flowing

gown that doesn't quite touch the ground there's a there's an Italian castle that's

haunted with the equivalent of a banshee called,

there's a woman in white.

This is actually a pretty common ghostly phenomenon.

You hear it, you hear it around the world.

This woman in white and the woman has sort of a wailing sound.
