Hey, thanks for having me back. Robert, we are always so excited when you're in the house. So Robert, you're an old hand at this. I am just going to hand it over to you and let you tell us how this case came to you.

Well, I appreciate that you said I'm old handed this. I feel old most days. Same. So we have that in common.

Well, I'm sure you're much younger than I am. I don't think so. How are you?

Well, we'll go on with the case here. Sorry, you're breaking up.

I'm closer to retirement every day. So I'm happy to talk about this case. I think it's the last murder case I worked on. So this case happened and then during the lengthy investigation that went on, I was promoted to Sargent and I went back to the patrol division.

So I think this was the last murder case that I worked on. So when this case came to me, it was on a Monday afternoon.

And it was about 120 in the afternoon. I'm just sitting at my desk and my Sargent comes over and says, Hey, patrol is investigating a shooting and you should head out there and you're going to be lead on this investigation.
