It is a green day on the screen so far, maybe in honor of the Masters, futures higher in the

U.S.

One of the stocks that is up, Yahoo, shares up 1.1% this morning so far on signs somebody wants them.

The parent company of the UK's daily mail newspaper is in talks with private equity

firms of apparently some sort of bid for the for the service or parts thereof.

Headlines just crossing the Bloomberg Professional Canadian Pacific is ending its efforts to merge with Norfolk Southern.

We'll keep an eye on that story as those headlines continued to break.

Canadian Pacific is, let's see here, withdrawing its resolution asking Norfolk Southern

shareholders to vote in favor of the merger and no details yet on why.

People with knowledge of the matter say standard chartered seeking to sell at least 4.4 billion dollars of assets in Asia
