What a beautiful day to be alive. I started out rough this morning and I chose to get out of bed

0:10.6

to come to work and to tell my depression, you don't define me this year. I've been chatting

0:16.8

about how great life is. I've been feeling amazing. I still got up and went to the gym,

0:21.8

but even after the gym, I was just, ugh, I was in a funk. But I'm so glad that I did because as I got

to work, I had a student that had messaged me on Instagram, and she wanted to share that she had

just launched her membership that we've been working on inside of our programs.

And inside of this launch, she made at one time over $300,000.

0:45.8

And I have just recently stopped crying because I'm just full of so much gratitude because

0:51.9

that money is life-changing to anyone, but especially to teachers.

1:11.8

they're over $11,000. I had another student sent me another one. Last year, she made $100. This

1:16.8

year, she's made over $1,400. And it just made me realize that what we're doing is making a difference.

1:23.7

Because some days I wonder, does it? Some days I wonder, am I enough? Am I helping enough? And so I'm so

1:29.4

glad that I told depression, I'll see you later today. And I showed up because I get to, I get to show up and

1:35.6

listen to your amazing stories. And I get to chat about what we're going to talk about today.

1:41.4

And we're going to start a new series called the storytelling series. And I believe that this is single-handedly the difference between successful

1:52.0

and unsuccessful businesses. Zig Zig Zigler once said, you don't build a business. You build

1:58.2

people. And then people build business. So good. Then Thomas Watson once said

2:05.2
