from her forthcoming, why a novel, Victories Greater Than Death, which is the first

of a new trilogy from the author.

Hello, I'm Charlie Jane Anders, and you're listening to Storybound. I'm going

to be reading a little section from my upcoming young adult novel, Victory's Greater Than Death,

which comes out in April 2021. The only thing you really need to know at this point is that Tina,

the main character, has found out that she's actually a clone of an alien warrior who was left

on earth as a baby. The clone was left on earth as a baby. And she has a signal beacon inside

her chest that will activate and let the aliens know to come get her when she's old enough.
