Welcome to Middays, I'm Susie Larson, so honored to get to spend this time with you.

awareness of his very real presence in your life. When you look around at the world, it seems,

it doesn't just seem, it is, that we live in a culture very antagonistic towards Christianity.

We are living in a really compelling time, would you say? Some of the things we hear when we,

when non-believers describe Christians, they're angry at God, they love their sin. Maybe from our perspective, some seem like

they're too far gone. But my guest today writes this, we've all met people who don't seem

approachable with the idea of saving grace of the cross. But what if they are exactly the ones to teach us most about evangelism? Dr. Randy Newman joins me today to talk about his book, Unlikely Converts, Improbable Stories of Faith and what they teach us about evangelism. He and I were praying before the show. And this is really my prayer for you at the end of this show. On one hand, that you exhale and realize that there's more on

God's shoulders than on ours as far as he's the one who draws people and he uses a variety of

people and yet on the same hand or is it the other hand secondly I pray that we all feel led to

step up because we all play a part in the process of evangelizing the world.
