Hello. Because walking just won't do dance. You don't have to know how to ever since, ever since we've got you late. Welcome to Middays. I'm Susie Larson. So honored to get to spend this time with you. In fact, I look forward to bringing you conversations every single day that hopefully inspire you in your faith walk, that deep in your understanding of God's word, and that heightens your awareness of God's very real presence in your life. Well, you know, most of us run so fast through

life, we barely skim the surface of all God has made available to us. Did you know that in Psalm 4610

where the verse it says, be still and know that I am God? It speaks of that very thing. To be still means to

sink down, let go, relax,

and in some cases, to be quiet. So in those places of soul and rest where you're hurried

and flurried, if you are talking and speaking out of that stress, there's something powerful

about seizing the striving, letting go, sinking down, relaxing, and then the rest of the verse and know that he is God.

Well, it translates actually to experience God in that very place of soul unrest,

experience him intimately, know him deeper. Isn't that powerful?

Well, my guest today write this. They said, if we would just stop occasionally and sink down,

we'd get in touch with the deeper, more significant, even

eternal realities that we want to shape our lives. We get in touch with the immeasurable

depths of love and peace and joy that are available to us right now. Even as racing along

the surface of our lives, we seek those somewhere out there. I'm so excited about today's show.
