We live in a dangerous world, but instead of motivating Christians in the West to action, today's headlines appear to be paralyzing us. We were never called to live in fear,

even though the times we're living in are frightening. We are right on course with the very

plan of God for this world. Things are not falling apart. They're falling into place.

My guest today is my friend Tom Doyle, and I just learned that his dear wife, Joanne will be

joining us as well. His book reads like a novel. It's titled Standing in the Fire, Courageous Christians

living in frightening times, one story after another of friends in the persecuted church. Honestly,

they're like adventure stories and their danger is so very real and their faith is amazing. I'm

telling you, you'll hold your breath as you read this book, and I'm thrilled
