Welcome to Middays, I'm Susie Larson, so honored to get to spend this time with you.

In fact, I look forward to connecting with you every single day

To hopefully inspire you in your faith walk, to deepen your understanding of God's Word

And to heighten your awareness of his very real presence in your life. Well, we've got a really great and important show

plan for you today. Many of you know that for about eight years, I hosted the show,

Live the Promise, which aired in the afternoons in that three to five slot in the afternoons.

During that time, one of our most celebrated guests was Bible scholar Ron Rhodes. We had them on every single month,

and people always ask, can you get him on a little more than that? Listeners loved him for his knowledge, his humility, his ability to convey differing perspectives on passage of the scripture,

that you could really land on either side. And he had a way of saying, this is what I believe,

this is what others believe, but I'm not breaking fellowship with my friends who believe

differently. That just needs to be modeled in our day. I believe so strongly,

his ability to navigate those conversations with civility and grace was one of the reasons

he was one of my favorites. Well, Ron has walked through a long health battle and is still battling

to some degree, but he's made himself available to us today. Lord willing, we're praying we can get

them on every month to answer your Bible questions, so it'll be Bible answers with Ron Rhodes.
