This first story is called The Owl.

They say don't go looking for trouble because it will find you.

Second Bridge encounter, Jay and I decided we would scare some classmates of ours, three younger ladies, so he took

him to the haunted bridge. Jay was walking ahead of us, then two of the girls between myself

and my classmates sister.

She was asking me about what to study in high school for electives.

About three minutes passed and I see J suddenly stop about two-thirds of the bridge.

He slowly turns around and starts walking back to us.

Curious, I run up and ask what happened.

He gave me a serious look and said, I heard an owl.

I brushed that off and said, well, yeah, there's trees nearby.

He said, no, it was like it was in front of my face. Remember, he was in the middle of a bridge and no such owl passed in front of him.

Fast forward a few months and I'm helping my grandfather at his butcher shop and he tells me,

hey, tell Steve about your bridge stories.

Steve looks at me and with a straight face says,

So you saw the owl?

At this time I got goosebumps.

I never told anyone of this story. I replied no what owl he then goes on about how

he was in his early 20s him and his date parked near the bridge and were

fooling around when she suddenly stopped him and asked what's that.

Across the river was a power line pole with a single street light and perched on it was his

giant owl. Steve said it had to have been about six feet tall.
