I am your host Heather and as always I am thrilled to be here.

I just wanted to let you know that this January marked a major milestone for me.

This is 11 years of maintaining my weight loss.

I had never, ever in my life experienced this long of a period of time of keeping my weight

in a consistent range.

I was the typical yo-yo dieter.

I struggled with this nasty binge eating issue that really plagued me ever since I was about

eight or nine years old.

What I have seen is that when I shifted my focus when I said okay, doing all these extreme

things, trying to cut out entire food groups, going very low in my calories, restricting

treats, making weight loss more of a priority than getting my binge eating behaviors under

control, when I think that way, I keep repeating the same cycle.

It wasn't until I was 30 that I woke up to this idea of oh wow, I'm having kids now.

I really want them to have a different opportunity with food, with how they eat, with not having
