There's something about this that has resonated with me ever since I saw it.

I feel much more compelled by the pursuit or the practice or the embodiment of

wholeness rather than the pursuit of being good and it's not because I'm not

interested in being good. And it's not because I'm not interested in being good or cultivating goodness.

I just think there is a lot of bypassing of our internal experience, our shadows aspects of ourselves when we prematurely try to play nice or

prematurely try to present ourselves in a way that we perceive to be good.

You know, good, the idea of good is an interesting thing.

Whose idea is it? Is it yours? Is it coming from your

heart of what you perceive to be good and to stand for goodness and to offer goodness?

Is it your parents' perspective?

Is it a mentors perspective?

A friend's perspective?

Your community's perspective.

The global culture's perspective.

You can get really complicated.
